Poker Shortcuts: SnG / Tournament Tab

Open Sng B Tab

The SnG C tab contains a variety of settings for SnGs and Tournaments.

Auto-Click the I'm Back Button when it appears in SnGs and Tournaments:

Checking this checkbox will enable the software to automatically click the "I'm back" button when you are playing in SnGs and Tournaments.

The I'm Back button needs to be visible in order for Shortcuts to know that this button needs to be clicked.

Poker Stars Only: If you are playing with stacked tables or cascaded tables this button may not be visible to the software (on a table that is buried in a stack of tables). In this case, Shortcuts will look at the hand history file and see if you are sitting out. It will then click the I'm Back button on that table. Since the hand history file is only generated after the hand is over, you will miss one hand of play in these cases where you time out on the table.

Auto-Click the I'm Ready Button (Full Tilt tables only):

Checking this checkbox will instruct the software to automatically click the I'm Ready button on Full Tilt Poker tables.

Auto-Close SnG and Tournament Lobbies:

Checking this checkbox will tell the software to automatically close any SnG or Tournament Lobby IF the register button is not visible.

On Full Tilt tables, the software needs to be able to "see" the Register button on the tournament lobbies. If the Register button is covered by another window, then Shortcuts will not be able to close this lobby.

Minimize SnG Lobby after automated SnG registering:

Check this checkbox if you want the software to minimize SnG lobbies after the software has registered you into the SnG.

Use slower (less interfering) method to open SnGs (Full Tilt Only).

Leaving this unchecked is the normal (default) mode.

If you check this box, then the task of opening SnGs is given a lower priority than other Shortcuts' tasks. Check this box if you notice delays in doing other normal functions on a table when SnG tables are being opened using the SnG B features. This will slightly slow down the process of opening SnG tables. You may have to reduce the "Min # of Registered Players" option on the SnG A tab if you find that your tables are filling up too quickly, and Shortcuts is not able to open the SnG before the table fills up.

Auto-Click the Info Refresh Button (when visible) (Poker Stars Only).

With this option checked, Shortcuts will automatically click the Refresh button on the Info tab on Poker Stars Tournament and SnG tables (this is a tab on the lower left hand area of the table). You need to manually select this Info tab to see the contents of the "Info".

In the box at the far right, set the time interval (in seconds) that you want this button regularly clicked.

Auto-Close SnG and Tournament Table that Hero has finished:

Check this checkbox if you want Shortcuts to automatically close SnG and Tournament tables that you have finished. The method used here is to look at the hand history file (or other files) to determine when you are not longer seated at the table. This uses more computer resources than the option below, but it works with tables that are stacked or cascaded (i.e. tables that are not visible to the software). I recommend leaving this option checked if you want your tables to close automatically, unless you notice that your computer is slowing down when you have many tables open.

Note: If you use this feature on Full Tilt tables, you will also need to check the checkbox on the Dialogs tab labeled: Close "You Finished the Tournament" Dialog Box.

Trouble Shooting tips for this feature are here.

Auto-Close SnG and Tournament Table if Hero is NOT seated:

Check this checkbox if you want Shortcuts to automatically close SnG and Tournament tables that you are no longer seated at. This method works if all tables are visible to the software (i.e. tiled tables). All tables MUST be visible to the software (not overlapped). This method is quicker and more efficient than the method above, but it has the drawback of not being able to close tables that are stacked/cascaded. I recommend leaving this option checked, if you want your tables to close automatically.

Note: If you use this feature on Full Tilt tables, you will also need to check the checkbox on the Dialogs tab labeled: Close "You Finished the Tournament" Dialog Box.

Trouble Shooting tips for this feature are here.

X second delay before closing tables:

Set the delay (in seconds) in closing tables when using the two methods above. You may want to set some delay here (perhaps 30 seconds or more) so that you can record your tournament results, or to take notes on some players at the table.

Key to Open FT/PS SnG1 (manually):

This box defines the key/mouse button to manually open Poker Stars SnG 1 (which is defined on the SnG A tab). By pressing the key/mouse button defined, the software will try (one time) to open this SnG. These key performs the same function as pressing the PS SnG 1 button on the SnG B tab.

Key to Open SnG highlighted in PS Lobby:

This feature is very useful to quickly open and register for Poker Stars SnGs with one keystroke.

This box defines the key/mouse button to manually open the SnG tournament that is highlighted in the main Poker Stars Lobby (be sure that you have the lobby theme that you are using configured on the Setup tab). If you also have the checkbox "Auto-Click the final Buy In Button" checked, then the software will completely register you for this tournament (and commit your $$).

Key to Open SnG highlighted in PS Lobby:

This feature is very useful to quickly open and register for Full Tilt SnGs with one keystroke.

This box defines the key/mouse button to manually open the SnG tournament that is highlighted in the main Full Tilt Lobby (be sure that you have the lobby theme that you are using configured on the Setup tab). If you also have the checkbox "Auto-Click the final Buy In Button" checked, then the software will completely register you for this tournament (and commit your $$).

Auto-Click the final Buy In button anytime the "Tournament Registration" dialog is visible:

This can be a very useful feature for quickly registering in SnGs that you are opening manually. If you check this checkbox, then whenever the Tournament Registration dialog box is visible (which allows you to buy in to a SnG) Shortcuts finish registering you for that SnG by buying you in.

This feature allows for a single click method to open SnGs (see the hotkeys listed above to open SnGs). You can also highlight a SnG in the lobby, and then click on the Register button in the lobby. Shortcuts will finish buying you into that SnG.

This feature is disabled when the Automatic feature is opening SnGs on the SnG B tab (i.e. Session is Running).

Warning! This feature will commit your money !!

Be careful NOT to leave this feature enabled if you sometimes casually click on the Register button in the lobby to view the details of a tournament.
