Poker Shortcuts: SnG A Tab

The SnG A tab allows you define criteria for opening Poker Stars SnGs automatically. Poker Shortcuts can then be used to automatically open these SnGs (that you define) for you (using the settings on the SnG B tab).

Notes:

There are many settings that need to be correct in order for you to open the SnG that you desire. Read the following information carefully.

We strongly recommend that you UNCHECK the checkbox "Auto Click the final Buy In button" on the SnG B tab, until you are sure that the SnGs that you desire are opening correctly.

The settings on this tab work closely with the settings on the SnG B andSnG / T tabs.

For automatically opening Sngs, only Hold'em SnGs are supported on Poker Stars (and only two Play Money tables). However, you can use the "Enable Single Click SnG Registering" feature on the SnG/T tab for any type of SnG.

Poker Stars Lobby Setup:

On the PS lobby, click on the menu item "View"...click on Text Size...select Largest. Poker Shortcuts will only work with this Largest text size.
On the PS lobby, change the size of the Poker Stars lobby to be set to it's smallest size, by dragging on the lower right hand corner of the lobby toward the top left.
On the PS lobby, use the Sit & Go Filter button to configure Poker Stars to only show the SnG tables that you plan to play.
On the Poker Shortcuts Setup tab, be sure that you have selected the Poker Stars Lobby theme that you are using.

Defining SnGs for Poker Stars:

You can define criteria for opening seven different SnGs that you often play on Poker Stars. This is done in the lower half of the SnG A tab.

Your Own Description:

Put your own description here to easily see what type of SnG you are defining. The information that you put in this box will show up on the SnG B tab, and make it easy for you to know what type of SnG this is.

For example, you could put "$16 NLTurbo" in this box if you are playing the No Limit $16 Turbo SnGs.

Game:

In this drop down box you can select the SnG that you desire to play. Most Hold'em SnGs will be listed here, exactly as you see them in the Poker Stars Lobby. Be sure to carefully select the SnG you desire.

Poker Shortcuts saves an image of the text from the lobby, and then does image recognition on the lobby to try to find an image that matches the image file that you selected. These image files are all saved in the Lobby theme folders.

Since there are so many possible SnGs and Hold'em is the most popular game, we only supply images for Hold'em SnGs. If you play some other game, you will need to capture your own images for the SnGs that you play and put them in the Lobby theme folders.
