Poker Shortcuts Limitations:

Poker Shortcuts is in beta test. Not all features are working correctly. Use with caution!
ALWAYS verify the amont that is in the betting box before betting!

See the bug list for features that we know are not working correctly yet.

On July 8, 2009, Full Tilt completely changed their software. Poker Shortcuts is being re-written to support their new software, but has not been completed yet. The following list lists some of the features that have not been completed.

  1. Not all FT dialog boxes will close automatically, including getting chips (Dialog tab).
  2. The maximum table size on FT is 850 pixels wide (in order for hero's stack size and pot size to be read correctly by the software).
  3. FT SnGs can not be automatically registered (SnG B tab)
  4. The "I'm Back" and "Time" button is not clicked on overlapped tables.
  5. HotKeys for FT Note features (Actions 2 tab) are not working

Because the Full Tilt software changed radically, the following items that were in Poker Shortcuts in the past may not be available in future versions

  1. Automatically opening FT SnGs (SnG A and SnG B Tabs).
  2. The mouse wheel can not be configured in Poker Shortcuts for use with Full Tilt. Instead, use Full Tilt's feature for this: Main Lobby...Options...Bet Slider Options
  3. Auto Login (dialog tab) will auto login in if you use the Classic lobby theme on Full Tilt. It does not log you in with the other themes (as they do not use a dialog box to log you in).

General Limitations:

  1. This software has NOT been tested rigorously with a wide variety of computers running a wide variety of software. We do not know of problems that are not outlined in this documentation, but that does not mean there are not some. Verify that this software does what you want and what you expect on your computer before purchasing!
  2. Poker Shortcuts is not compatible with the Vista Aero theme (it slows down many programs and interferes with others, including FTS). To turn off Aero theme:
    1. Right-click the Windows desktop and select Personalize > Window Color and Appearance.
    2. Click Open classic appearance properties for more color options.
    3. In the Color scheme drop-down box, choose Windows Classic, Windows Vista Basic or Windows Vista Standard, and click OK. Aero will now be turned off.
  3. This program has only been tested with Win XP and Win Vista. There may be problems using this software with earlier versions of Windows.
  4. Poker Shortcuts requires that the Language that you use Full Tilt and Poker Stars be set to English.
  5. There are some special tables that Full Tilt recently created that are not compatible with some features of Poker Shortcuts.
    • Any No-Limit ring game with 6 players must have the letters "6 max" in the title bar, or else FTS will not correctly count the number of seats at the table and will not read the hero's stack size correctly.
    • Any NL table that has 8 seats at it will not correctly count the number of seats at the table and will not read the hero's stack size correctly.
    • In tournaments, if you are lucky/good enough to get to the final table, Full Tilt will often change the color of the table. This will prevent the software from reading the the number of players correctly on some types of tables. You can easily change the theme back to your normal theme by right clicking on the table and changing the theme back.
  6. See the FAQ and Troubleshooting page for additional information.
  7. Stacked and Cascaded tables: If you play with stacked or cascaded tables, Poker Shortcuts requires that the Full Tilt tables be in one stack/cascade and the Poker Stars tables be in another stack (if you are using the table activation features on the Table 1 tab).
  8. Poker Shortcuts is not compatiable with the following Full Tilt Poker table backgrounds: Beach Scene, Jungle, Blue Carpet and Marble. These backgrounds are selected by right clicking on a Full Tilt table.
  9. Poker Shortcuts supports Hold'em games and Omaha games. Many features of PSC will work with other table games.
  10. Poker Stars Only: Poker Shortcuts can open SnGs with one click, but to open SnGs automatically, the SnGs must be Hold'em SnGs. However you can make your own image captures to open other types of SnGs in the Poker Stars lobby. See this information.
  11. At some small table sizes on Full Tilt, if a player has characters that descend to the top of the stack digits, then Shortcuts may not be able to read the stack size for that player. A larger table size will solve this.
  12. On Poker Stars "Fast" tables the software will NOT post your small blind in "Deal Me Out" mode. It will sit you out instead. If you happen to change to "Deal Me Out' mode when you are currently in the big blind, the software is not able to recognize this and it will sit you out on the next hand when you would be in the small blind. This only occurs on "Fast" tables on Poker Stars.
  13. Full Tilt Ring game tables: The software may not be able to count the number of players at Ring game tables correctly. However, in SnGs and tournaments where this feature is important, the software is able to count the number of players at the table correctly.
