Poker Shortcuts: Getting Started
Here are the things that we recommend you start with if your are just beginning to use Poker Shortcuts.
- Follow these Download, Install, and Configuration steps. These steps are very important!
- Define some keys or mouse buttons for items on the Actions1 tab. Here you can assign a key or mouse button to press for fold, call, and bet. If you need to use a special key or mouse button, check out the Key/Mouse/Joystick Code documentation.
- Try out the "Auto-Activate the next table with pending action" on the Table1 tab. I think it is one of the most useful features in Shortcuts.
- Define some bet sizes on the Street Bet - Ring and/or Street Bet - Tournaments tabs. Try checking the "Automatically put the street bet amount in the betting box" checkbox. This will put in your default bet amount in the betting box when it is your turn to act.
- Define some Fixed Bets and Inc/Dec Bets.
- Then, at your leisure, try out the other features on the various tabs. If you play ring games, the Deal Me tab is useful and if you play SnGs, the SnG A and SnG B tabs are helpful.
- Take your time... it will take a little while to figure out all the features in this software.
If you run into any problems, check the TroubleShooting and FAQ page.
