- Microprocessor: 1 GHz or higher
- Memory: 256 MB
Download FT Table Opener
To Download FT Table Opener:- Go to the download page and click on the most recent version of the software.
- Save the file to our hard drive in any folder that you would like.
Installing FT Table Opener
Current users of FT Table Opener: If you have an older previous version of FT Table Opener installed, you should NOT uninstall it first. Just install the new version over the old. Be sure to close FT Table Opener if it is currently running before installing a new version. If you are reverting back to an older version of the software, then you will need to un-install it first.
To Install FT Table Opener:
- Run the installation program that you downloaded.
- Follow the instructions in the installer program. I strongly recommend that you install the program into a folder in your Program Files folder that the program suggests.
Running FT Table Opener
Vista users: You MUST run the program as an administrator. Right Click on the program name or icon and select "Run as Administrator". To always run as administrator, Right Click on the program name, select properties, Compatibility tab, check "Run this program as an administrator". If you don't have a desktop icon for this program, open Windows explorer (Win key + E), navigate to the folder that contains this software, and right click on the program name (FullTiltShortcuts.exe), click properties, compatibility tab, and check "Run this program as an administrator". If you have UAC (User Account Control) turned off on your computer, then these options may be grayed out and you don't have to check the "Run this program as an administrator" option.
Vista users: FT Table Opener is NOT compatible with the Vista Aero theme (Aero slows down many programs and interferes with others). To turn off Aero theme:
- Right-click your Windows desktop and select Personalize.
- Click on "Window Color and Appearance. The "Appearance Settings" dialog box will appear.
- In the Color scheme drop-down box, choose Windows Classic, Windows Vista Basic or Windows Vista Standard, and click OK. Aero will now be turned off.
Run FullTableOpener.exe by clicking (or double clicking) on the program name (or the shortcut icon created for this program).
To configure FTTO to open ring games, see the documentation for the Ring Tables Tab.
Full Tilt Poker Setup
On the Full Tilt Poker Lobby:
- Click on the tab to select the poker game for the tables you want opened (Hold'em, Omaha H/L, Omaha Hi, etc.)
- Click on the tab to select the desired game type (NL, PL, Limit, etc.)
- Select a combination of the desired stakes (High, Med, Low) by checking the appropriate checkboxes.
- Check "Show Full Tables" at the bottom right of the lobby if you want to open tables that are both full and partially full. Leave it unchecked if you only want to open tables that are partially full.
FT Table Opener tries to open tables starting at the top of the list. If desired, you can click on the top of a column to sort the list of tables based on that column's data. This will affect the order in which FTTO opens tables. For example you might want to open tables with the highest average pot. If you click on the Avg Pot column (perhaps twice), then the highest pot tables will be at the top. FTTO will then be sure to open tables with the very highest average pots.
When you want to open a different type of table (not currently showing in the lobby), you will always need to return to the lobby to manually make these selections.
The Full Tilt software must be running in English. FTTO does not support other languages.
Saving Hand Histories
If you want Full Tilt Poker to automatically save your hand histories, then you need to enable options from the Full Tilt Lobby:
- Click on Options.
- Click on Hand History Options.
- Check the "Save My Hand Histories" checkbox.
- Select a folder for where you want these hand histories saved (usually C:\Program Files\Full Tilt Poker\HandHistory). In this folder Full Tilt will put your observed hand histories (for tables that you are not seated at). In a sub folder, with your FT username, you will find the hand histories for hands that you did play. If you are using Poker Tracker, you will need to know this folder location (see Poker Tracker setup below).
Poker Tracker 2 Setup
If you plan to have Poker Tracker collect data from the your own hand histories then you will need to configure Poker Tracker:
- Click on the little Full Tilt icon on the Poker Tracker icon bar (or File...Auto-Import Hand Histories...Full Tilt). This will open the "Auto-Import Full Tilt Poker Hand Histories" dialog box.
- At the top of the box, click on "Hand History Folder Location" and select the hand history folder where Full Tilt puts hand histories (usually C:\Program Files\Full Tilt Poker\HandHistory). Do not select the sub folder with your user name on it. Poker Tracker will look in all sub folders.
- If you want to collect data from observed hands into Poker Tracker, click on the Observed Hands tab. Select the database to store your observed hands. Uncheck "Do not import observed hand history files at this time".
- On the Settings tab: usually you will uncheck "Enable logging", and usually you will check "Move processed files" and pick a location to save processed files. See the PT documentation for more information.
- Click on Start Timer to start importing hands from the Full Tilt hand history folder.
Note: Full Tilt Poker's web site states that "Players may not use databases that include hand histories from hands that they did not personally participate in".
