FTS SnG A Tab

The SnG A tab allows you to quickly register for the next available SnG. You can set up your nine most frequent SnGs that you play and then click on one of the buttons on the left to register for that SnG.

You must set up the Full Tilt Lobby to display the SnGs that you desire. You can use the custom on the lobby feature to narrow down the SnGs that are displayed in the lobby. We recommend that you uncheck "Running" and "Completed" at the bottom of the FT Lobby.

Notes:

There are many settings that need to be correct in order for you to open the SnG that you desire. Read the following information carefully.

We strongly recommend that you UNCHECK the checkbox "Auto Click Buy In button" until you are sure that the SnGs that you desire are opening correctly.

The settings on this tab work closes with the settings on the SnG B tab.

Desc:

Put your own description here to easily see what type of SnG this is.

Game:

Select the game type: Hold'em, Omaha, Razz, etc.

Options:

The Options field allows you to define particular parameters for the desired SnG. These options should match those on the SnG listing. Some of them are combined. Please let us know if Full Tilt adds any combinations that are not listed here and we will update Shortcuts to include the new types of SnGs.

None = if none of the following are desired
T = Turbo
M = Matrix
SO = Shoot Out
KO = Knock Out
R A = Rebuy/Addon
DS = Double Stack

Type:

Select the type of format: NL, PL, Limit

Total Buy-In $:

Enter the SnG cost plus the fee. If you are playing in a $5 SnG that has a $0.50 fee, then enter 5.50 in this box. If you are playing a 250 play money SnG, put in 250. If you want a 600 Full Tilt Points SnG, put in 600 FTP (with a space between 600 and FTP).

Seats/Table:

Select the number of seats at each table.

Total Players:

Enter the total number of players in this SnG. If a particular SnG has more than one table of players, enter the total number of players that are playing in the tournament. If you are not using a particular "Open SnG x" button, set the "Total # Players" to 0, and it will disable that button.

Minimum # of Registered Players (0 = Not Applicable):

Enter the minimum number of players at this SnG that must already be registered before the software will register you. The software will wait to register you until there are at least this many players registered for the SnG. This number must be one less than the number of player seats in the SnG. If you set this number to 7, the software will wait until there at least 7 players at the table. This allows the software to check if any of those 7 players are sharks. Set this box to 0 if you do not care how many players are already registered at the table. If you set this number too high, the table may fill up so fast that you don't get a set at the table. If you set it too low, then the software will check fewer players at the table for sharks. See the SharkList feature described below.

Max # of Sharks (100 = Not Applicable):

Enter the maximum number of shark players (from your SharkList.txt file) that you will allow at your table. If the software sees more sharks at your table than this number, it will not register you for that particular table. Set this number to 0 and the software will not register you for any SnG that has even 1 shark at it. Set this box to 100 if you do not care about checking for sharks at your table. See the SharkList feature described below.

Special Lobby Text:

You can normally leave this box blank, UNLESS you need to differentiate between two SnGs that have all the same parameters, but they have a different payout structure (one might pay out in cash, the other might give an entry to another tournament).

Full Tilt often has two different SnGs listed in their lobby that have the same buy-in amount, but they have a different payout structure. One might be payout in cash and the other might payout with an entry to a tournament. But, in the lobby, all of the criteria are listed as the same for both SnGs. In order to tell Shortcuts which SnG you want to open, you can specify some "Special Lobby Text" that helps to define which SnG the software should open for you.

The special text is located in a box on the lobby just to the left of the big red Cashier's button. In that box, in the center of the box, is some text that is usually different for different types of SnGs. You need to take the first 2 words from this text and put it in the Special Lobby Text column of Shortcuts on the SnG-A tab.

Notice the two Turbo SnGs in the following pictures. All of the criteria in the table list is the same for both SnGs. But when I highlight each of the listings, the text in the center of the center box changes depending on which SnG is selected.

If you want to open the SnG from the top picture (to win the $75 token) then you should put the words "Winner gets" in the Special Lobby Text box for that SnG. If you wanted to open the normal SnG from the second picture, then you would put the words "The blinds" in the Special Lobby Text box. Do not include the double quotation characters. You must capitalize the words EXACTLY like they are shown in that center box. Do not put any spaces before or after the words (but put in the space in between the words).

If you leave the Special Lobby Text box blank, the software will try to open either or both of these SnGs.

For normal Turbo SnGs you will usually use: The blinds
For normal non-Turbo SnGs you will usually use: Good Luck
But double check these, as Full Tilt is likely to change what they put in this center box.

Pay Using:

If you check the checkbox "Auto Click Buy In button with "Pay Using" choice above" then the software will automatically buy you into the SnG with your funds. In the Pay Using column you can specify what type of funds to use to pay for this SnG. Select the appropriate choice from this dropdown box.

Key to Open SnG 1:

Enter a key code to automatically open the top SnG that is defined (this key will serve the same purpose as clicking on the "Open SnG 1" button.

Key to Open SnG N:

Enter a key code to automatically open any of the 9 SnGs defined (press this key and then a number key 1-9 within 2 seconds of one other). If you put F8 in this box, then you would press F8 and then 6 to open SnG 6.

Auto Click Buy In button with "Pay Using" choice above::

If the "Auto Click Buy In" checkbox is checked, then the software will automatically click the final buttons to buy you into the SnG. This will fully register you for the SnG (and commit your money!). I recommend that you leave this box UNCHECKED until you are sure that you have all of the options configured correctly. In the dropdown box called "Pay Using" in the criteria section, you can specify whether you want to use $ (real $), T$ (Tournament $), FTP (Full Tilt Points), or Play (play money) that are in your account.

Auto Click "I'm Ready":

If this checkbox is checked, then whenever the "I'm Ready" button appears on your tournament or SnG table, it will be automatically clicked for you.

Close SnG Tables when Finished: If this checkbox is checked, then whenever you are finished at a SnG table (either you win the SnG or you bust out) the table will be closed for you automatically.

Minimize SnG Lobby after registering:

If this checkbox is checked, then the SnG lobby will be minimized to your task bar after the software registers you into a SnG. Note: On the Misc tab you can also select an option to close all SnG and tournament lobbies.

SharkList Feature:

You can keep a list of players that you would rather not play with at your SnG tables (the SharkList). This list is kept in a file called SharkList.txt in your FullTiltShortcuts folder, in the Settings folder.

Adding names to the sharklist in two ways:

You can edit the file SharkList.txt using NotePad, and put one name per line in this file. You must exit FTS before editing this file or your changes will be lost.

You can add players to the list by putting your mouse over a player's name box, and then press the "Player's Name -> SharkList" key that is defined on the Actions2 tab. This will automatically put that player's name into the SharkList.txt file.

SharkList Operation:

The software will first look at tables that match your defining criteria. If there are at least "Min # Reg. Plyers" at the table, the software will then look at the registered names and count the number of matches with the names in the SharkList.txt file. If there are more sharks at the table than "Max # Sharks", the software will not register you for that SnG. If there are less, then the software will continue to register you in that SnG.
